Joan
Johnston is the New York Times bestselling author of 47 novels and novellas
with more than 10 million copies of her books in print. Her most recent
novel, the seventh in her Bitter Creek series, is A Stranger's Game. Joan has a
B.A. and M.A. in Theatre and was graduated with honors from the University of
Texas at Austin School of Law. She worked as a director of theatre, drama
critic, newspaper editor, college professor and attorney on her way to becoming
a full-time writer.
She has also raised two fairly normal children.
Joan splits her time between homes in Florida and Colorado.
