  • SandyGelston When I originally created my profile I described attending ThrillerFest XIII. Unfortunately, my entry was not loaded onto my page. Hopefully, I will do this correctly. Back on the subject of the International Thriller Writers organization, I am truly impressed with the cooperation of authors, the people running the events, sessions and fellow participants. I learned a lot from the sessions and will incorporate as much as I could process in my future writing. I expect my craft to improve from what I learned. The networking was also an important result of the ThrillerFest. My new go-to-guy for research is Jeff Ayers. He is such a wealth of knowledge. Thanks, Jeff. Authors like Don Helin, Barry Lancet and Jeff Wilson gave me up close advice during the practice pitch fest that I took to heart. Thanks to all of them. I will be at ThrillerFest XIV next year without fail. I have to go back to writing. Something I learned… keep writing.

  • bobhlee Greetings. I am delighted to be a member of ITW. After having two nonfiction works published by the University Press of Florida, I decided to dive into the fiction arena. A 3-year effort produced my first novel, which I have just begun pitching to agents (fingers crossed).
