"HUNTER" is the first in a series of thrillers featuring crusading journalist and vigilante Dylan Hunter. The character and his stories are drawn from my background as an award-winning investigative journalist, true-crime author, magazine editor, political commentator, and thriller reviewer. My various awards include 1985 Mencken Award for "Best Feature Story"; 1989 Finalist for a National Magazine Award from the American Society of Magazine Editors; the National Victims Center 1991 Media Award; and the 2007 Gold "Eddie" Award for editorial excellence.
