I've always dreamed of being a novelist. I spent countless hours reading as a youth, many times by flashlight after being instructed to turn off my light. The writers that influenced me the most as an adolescent were J.RR. Tolkien, C.S. Lewis, and Louis L'amour. I'm an avid reader with varied interests and most of my favorite authors are other members of the ITW. In 2003 with the help of an intriguing dream, I began plotting a story which turned into my first novel, The Nineveh Project.
"The Nineveh Project reads like an action movie plays out on the screen-thrilling and non-stop. Craig Alexander puts the reader in the seat of an unremitting thrill ride that doesn't let up until the book ends." - BookReview.com
I'm a martial artist of eighteen years experience. I am a third-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and Hapkido, and a first degree black belt in Han Mu Do, and have studied many other styles. I'm one of the instructors at Sun Bi Martial Arts in Madison, MS. One of the highlights of my training was a chance to tour and compete in Korea and Japan.
I also lead a men's small group Bible study. I love to play Tennis, watch good movies, and of course read. I live in Mississippi with my beaufiful wife and daughter.
