Born, raised and educated in Southern Oregon .. after a lifetime of journalism I retired as the managing editor of a small Central Oregon newspaper. In all those years I worked in N. California, Washington and Alaska, too.
Relocated in 2002 to a small cottage near the beaches of Queensland, Australia where I kayak, fish and write. I have ten western novels and my first crime story published by a London outfit. Sticking with crime (it's more fun and it pays better than cowboys and Indians) I have number 2 on the publishers desk, number 3 en route there and number 4 in rewrite. Number five will be about revenge!
