Arlene Hunt is a 35 year old author. She has written five crime novels and is currently working on her sixth. She lives in Dublin with her husband, daughter, three cats and her beloved basset hound Opus.
Her novels are, Vicious Circle (2004) False Intentions (2005), Black Sheep ( 2006), Missing Presumed Dead (2007), Undertow (2008).
Vicious Circle was a stand alone novel. The following four are about QuicK Investigations, a ramshackle detective agency set in Dublin and run by former lovers, John Quigley and Sarah Kenny. Missing Presumed Dead has been translated into Dutch and is in the process of being translated into Russian. Arlene is currently in talks with a production company about turning John and Sarah into television characters. When she is not writing or reading Arlene can be found running the streets oblivious to traffic or pondering the delights of rum based cocktails.
