Sherer currently serves on active duty as an Army chaplain. An ordained Presbyterian minister, she holds an M.Div from Princeton Seminary and a doctorate from Oklahoma State University. She's about to deploy to Iraq for the 3rd time. Sharon and B.K. collaborated on a play for their 6th grade talent show and have been best friends ever since.
