A string of high-profile and very public murder-suicides has San Francisco even more rattled than a string of recent earthquakes. Meg Gardiner is originally from Southern California, where she practiced law in Los Angeles and taught at the University of California, Santa Barbara. She is the author of the Evan Delaney novels, including CHINA LAKE, MISSION CANYON, JERICHO POINT, CROSSCUT, and KILL CHAIN. She lives with her family near London.

ITW's annual celebration of the thriller world is the largest event of its kind, a meeting place for authors, readers, budding writers, and publishing industry professionals.
